Families benefit from exceptional educational opportunities, including Tantallon Junior Elementary, Tantallon Senior Elementary, Five Bridges Junior High, and Bayview High School, all offering French Immersion programs. For those seeking private education, Sandy Lake Academy provides schooling from Primary through Grade 12.

From morning walks on forest trails to days spent on the water and peaceful evenings with neighbours, life in our neighbourhood is grounded in community spirit and a shared love of nature.

Association

Your Homeowners’ Association

The St. Margaret’s Homeowners’ Association (HOA) is a volunteer-run board made up of neighbours who live and own property right here in St. Margaret’s Village.

The board looks after neighbourhood affairs, keeps records and finances in order, works with Halifax Regional Municipality, and helps bring the community together through communications and events.

With 6 to 12 elected directors serving two-year terms, the board includes roles of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Past Chair. Elections happen at the Annual General Meeting, and everyone in the community is encouraged to get involved.

Volunteers are always welcome! Whether it’s joining the board, helping out on committees, or lending a hand at events, getting involved with the Homeowners’ Association is a great way to connect with your neighbours and make a positive difference in your community.
